The Firefox is a compact yet powerful butane refillable piezo electric torch ideal for both professional and home DIY use. It features a 2500ºF butane blue wind resistant flame packed into an easy to use ergonomic design. Light weight at just 7 ounces and just 4.5” tall, this torch features durable state-of-the-art Japanese manufacturing, an attractive outer finish and world class interior craftsmanship. The torch houses a piezoelectric ignition system, which is based on a pressurized molecular reaction, and requires no electric connection. Piezoelectric energy occurs when the trigger is activated, releasing a small, spring-loaded internal hammer that strikes a crystal, producing a spark and resulting in gas flame ignition. The Firefox has a continuous burn time of approximately 20 minutes, at maximum fuel volume, and a 6-gram gas capacity. It includes the same child resistant mechanism found on other Blazer torches. A locking mechanism provides a continuous flame.
